Oatmeal Scrubbie Soap

This has been my signature bar since 1997. I developed it for a neighbor with acne and it has never failed me. My middle school daughter swears by it. I hope you like it too!

Ingredients

Equipment
Double Boiler
Measuring Spoons

Directions
Melt soap. Add fragrance. Grind oatmeal and add. Stir well and pour into molds. When hard, unmold and package as desired. I have always found that a cello bag with raffia tie makes a nice wrap.

Note: The plastic beaker is a great mold because the soap easily unmolds and then the finished bar fits nicely in your hand. If you pour the soap a little hotter, you get a nice fall out of oatmeal. This is good because it produces a soapy side and a scrubby side to the bar.

Wishing You Much Success!

I make this soap with the Goat's Milk base MP soap. I pour it into a muffin pan. I also make mini soaps with the leftovers in a mini muffin pan as samples. I like the lather side and the scrubby side technique. My customers love this soap and the muffin pan makes it palm size so it's easy to handle.

You will be safe doing either one of those. I would be more likely to do the first

Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap
