Thank you for the wonderful video.

I have a question - why do you spray the noodle down with alcohol?

  1. The rubbing alcohol causes the embed soap to adhere to the overpour soap. If you do not apply the mist of rubbing alcohol, the two different soaps will fall apart when the soap is sliced.

It is actually a very small amount of rubbing alcohol compared to the volume of soap you are making. It does not make the soap drying or interfer with the glycerin.

Hi! Love your blog; love your company!
We just made a few loaves like this using our "mistakes". We named one Confetti soap and the other Let It snow soap.
It's a great way to use up odds and ends and well, mistakes!
    Merry Christmas!

Video is really great!!! However the lighting is a little dim especially when you were embedding the curls. Somehow, there is much shadow. Overall, very informative!

why do you put glycerine in pre-made soap base? Thx, Kim

  1. You only put glycerin in the soap that you want to curl. The added glycerin will soften the soap so that it will not break when curling.
