The National Candle Association recently sent out an alert/advisory for lotion candles.
Listing ingredients and identifying skin safe fragrance loads is common for our personal care customers but it may be new to some candle customers.
For your convenience, I have linked the document for your review.
Wishing You Much Success!

Debbie, thank you for posting this information. I personally think the lotion candles are a verey bad idea. Before I realized that only some fragrance oils are skin safe I tried pouring melted candle wax on my hands. The FO was a cinnamon base and my hands were already chapped from the winter weather. When I poured the wax on my hands it stung very badly. I had to wash the wax off with very warm water and soap and it only made it worse. I ended up putting vaseline on my hands and it took days before the stinging stopped. I just don't think the average consumer is going to be aware enough to follow directions and they are going to try this with any candle on the market resulting in terrible consequences. Thanks for the info!
