As many of you know, my husband and I have a daughter severely affected by Autism. Just as the movie link below states...we were told to wait. This wait caused us to miss early intervention opportunities. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed at the late age of 7. Recently, she has made some exciting progress with a machine called a DynaVox. We call it her "Talker". I live for the day she pushes the button to say "Mommy I Love You".A dear friend of mine, Sherri, sent me a video called Change Her World on the site What Kind of World Do You Want.
Please watch Change Her World. For every video view the band Five for Fighting will donate .49 to Autism Speaks.org. You donate by just watching...nothing more.

This is an awesome website/video clip. The child is beautiful and like so many with autism, silent. Thanks for sharing once again. I will be returning to it often. I have a good friend with a child with autism and he is working with a special therapist and it is helping. This is only due to the fact his grandparents are able to pay for the treatment. These are such special children and they deseve the insurance dollars.
