Fabulous Brown Sugar Soap
This bar is super easy to make. It feels FABULOUS on the skin! The scrubbing sensation is very fine and gentle. In testing, my 13 year old daughter loved it on her face.
Ingredients:
1 lb. Crafter's Choice Ultra White Soap
1/2 oz Crafter's Choice Warm Vanilla Sugar* FO
1 lb. Raw Brown Sugar
Silicone Petite Muffin Mold
Directions:
Melt soap, add fragrance and brown sugar. Stir well. Pour into mold. Allow to return to room temperature. Remove from mold. Wrap in cello bag with raffia tie. Label as directed. Each bar will weigh approximately 1 oz.

Ok, I'm sure this is user error but the first batch I tried, I think I added the sugar too early because there was no scrubbiness at all. The second batch I guess I waited too late to put the sugar in and it got hard in the bowl as I was pouring into the molds.
Is there a trick to the timing so the sugar doesn't melt or the soap doesn't get hard before getting into the molds?
