Holiday Hours - Nov. & Dec. 2008
I am not sure if you are aware but our warehouse has been working this holiday season without two of our seasoned team leaders. Both had unexpected emergency medical leaves.
Our remaining staff has been working overtime. This past Sunday, all company staff also came in to pull and pack orders....this included myself and 7 other office staff members!
Unfortunately, any warehouse work not directly related to filling customer orders, has been neglected. We are in desperately need of an accurate inventory count, rebuilding of shelves in the fragrance/essential oil room and general inventory organization.
In ten years we have never closed for an significant period of time but this year I just don't see any way around it. We need to do maintenance so that our start for 2009 runs smoothly and allows for continued business growth. Therefore our 2008 schedule is as follows:- Nov. 27 & 28 - Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday.
- Dec. 22 & 23 - Business Closed to Public. Pre-Inventory Begins.
- Dec. 24, 25, 26 - Closed for Christmas Holiday.
- Dec. 29 to Jan. 2 - Business Closed to Public. Inventory Begins.

In fact, my order got to me 2 days earlier than it normally does! I wanted to thank you for you and your staff's efforts in getting orders out swiftly. It doesn't go by unnoticed.
