I have been notified that IGI Wax is passing along another significant wax price increase to our industry.Wholesale Supplies Plus absorbed the last increase because we felt it was unfair to increase the price in the middle of your busy craft show season. Unfortunately, we can no longer absorb that increase and take on this increase.
Therefore, next week I will be increasing all IGI wax prices on the Wholesale Supplies Plus website. I have not calculated the exact increase but it looks like it will be close to 10 cents a pound. I have a meeting with our shipping contacts to see if we can apply the free pallet shipping program to waxes. I will know more next week.
Meantime, I feel bad about the increase IGI has given this industry. I just don't have any option but to pass it on to you. Hopefully this notice will be sufficient notice to stock up.
